Our Aspiration

Our Aspiration

We put engineers inside your team — not across the table from it. When you work with Arrow Ways, you get embedded talent in Automotive & EV, Aerospace & Defense, Medical Devices, and Industrial Equipment who carry your badge, sit in your stand-ups, and are judged on your outcomes. Everything we’re building toward for 2027 and beyond is in service of that.

Beyond the Project

By 2027, we want you to be able to call Arrow Ways the moment a hard engineering problem lands on your desk — and know that within weeks, you’ll have the right person sitting inside your team, not a proposal sitting in your inbox.

Why 2027
A milestone, not a deadline

We chose 2027 because it’s close enough to hold ourselves to and far enough out to build toward deliberately. Arrow Ways was founded in 2024 in Kansas City with a narrow, deep focus on the engineering disciplines our clients can’t afford to get wrong. 2027 is the year we want that focus to show — in the depth of our bench, in the sectors we’re trusted in, and in how naturally clients think of embedded talent as the default way to staff hard engineering problems, not the alternative to a traditional consulting engagement.

That means growing carefully. We’d rather be the right firm for a narrower set of clients than a diluted version of ourselves for a broader one. Every engineer we place, every program we support, is a chance to prove the embedded model works — and 2027 is when we expect that proof to be undeniable.

How We Get There
Four commitments guiding the work
Embedded as the standard
We measure ourselves by how well our engineers integrate into a client's existing team, not by how polished our deliverables look from the outside.

A Broader Shift

Where we think consulting is headed

From advice to execution

The traditional consulting model — a team of generalists parachuting in, producing a set of recommendations, and leaving implementation to the client — is losing ground in engineering-intensive industries. Clients under real technical and regulatory pressure don’t need another deck. They need capable hands on the problem, and they need them now.

We think the firms that matter most over the next several years will be the ones that show up as staff, not visitors — engineers who sit in the client’s stand-ups, carry a badge, and are judged by the same outcomes as the client’s own team.

From generalist to specialist

At the same time, the sectors we serve are getting more technically demanding, not less — battery systems, defense-grade avionics, regulated medical software, automation-heavy industrial equipment. Generalist advisory firms are structurally disadvantaged here; specialization is becoming the price of entry, not a differentiator.

We’re building Arrow Ways for that future: a firm defined by how well our people do the work, not by how large our footprint is. That’s the aspiration for 2027, and it’s the standard we hold ourselves to today.
