The Company Health Institute.
A financially healthy company isn’t always an engineering-healthy one. The Arrow Ways Company Health Institute studies what actually makes engineering and manufacturing organizations resilient, efficient, and built to last.

The metric your balance sheet doesn’t show.
Revenue and margin tell you whether a company is performing. They don’t tell you whether its engineering processes are sound, whether its quality systems will hold under pressure, or whether its workforce is prepared for what’s coming next.
The Company Health Institute is Arrow Ways’ effort to study that gap — treating engineering, quality, and operational health as measurable dimensions of an organization, not soft ideas that get discussed only after something breaks.
A company can be profitable and unhealthy at the same time. The unhealthy part just hasn’t come due yet.
The Institute exists to study the parts of organizational health that don’t show up on a quarterly earnings call — engineering discipline, quality resilience, workforce readiness, and operational risk — and to give leaders a clearer, evidence-based way to see them coming.
Five dimensions of company health.
The Institute’s research is organized around five dimensions we believe determine whether an engineering or manufacturing organization is built to last.
How sound and repeatable an organization's technical processes actually are.
How well an organization catches and corrects risk before it reaches a customer.
Whether the people doing the work are equipped for what the next five years will demand.
How well an organization absorbs disruption — supply chain, staffing, or demand shocks — without losing performance.
Whether an organization can actually adopt new technology and process improvements, not just discuss them.
Research Grounded in Real Engagements.
Unlike research built purely from surveys, the Institute's work draws directly on what Arrow Ways engineers observe inside client organizations — the patterns that separate resilient operations from fragile ones, seen firsthand rather than reported secondhand.
Findings will be published as reports, frameworks, and diagnostic tools that any organization can use to evaluate its own health, whether or not they're an Arrow Ways client.
Health Problems Compound Quietly.
Engineering and quality problems rarely announce themselves early. They accumulate quietly — a shortcut here, a deferred process improvement there — until a delay, a recall, or a failed audit makes them impossible to ignore.
The organizations that stay healthy are the ones that measure the quiet problems before they become loud ones
Profit tells you how a company is doing. Health tells you how long it will last.
The Company Health Institute will grow into a standing body of research as Arrow Ways’ engagement base grows — a way of giving back what we learn on the floor to the industry as a whole.
